The St. Francis High School Wrestling Team is sending four individuals to the 2025 Minnesota State High School League Class AAA State Wrestling Tournament Feb. 28-March 1 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.
Senior Gunner Hostetter (152 lbs), junior Caden Borgen (139 lbs), sophomore Kenny Ferrario (145 lbs) and freshman Ashton Charmoli (127 lbs) all qualified for the state tournament by winning a Section 7AAA title.
Hostetter returns to the state tournament after qualifying last year at 139. He holds a 39-7 record this year. Charmoli also is making his second state appearance (107 last year) and enters the weekend with a 38-11 record. Borgen owns a 39-7 record and Ferrario holds a 33-12 mark this season.
Tournament Information: First round action of the Class AAA tournament begins at 9 a.m. Friday and concludes Saturday at 4 p.m. with the championship, third place and fifth place matches.
